What difference can ten minutes a day make? At one Germain Automotive Partnership luxury import dealership, a commitment to daily training helped drive measurable improvements in sales performance.
By making RockED part of the daily routine for its Sales and F&I teams, the dealership achieved 92% learner participation, increased Total Gross PVR by over $410 per sale, and averaged 10 more vehicles sold per month. Even more impressive, these gains came during June through September, including some of the industry's toughest summer selling months, compared to the earlier months of the year.
Between customer appointments, sales opportunities, and the demands of a busy showroom, finding time for employee development can be a challenge. Germain's General Manager wanted to change that by making training a consistent part of the workday without taking employees away from customers.
Working in partnership with JM&A Group, the dealership introduced a simple approach: ten minutes of assigned RockED training before each shift.
Managers selected daily content, SPIFF incentives rewarded participation, and new hires followed a structured learning schedule before working with customers. With RockED's mobile-first, bite-sized training, employees could develop their skills without stepping away for lengthy training sessions.
Rather than treating training as an occasional event, Germain made it an everyday expectation.
Within just two and a half months, the dealership saw strong participation across its 26-person Sales and F&I team.
24 of 26 enabled employees were actively learning on RockED, achieving a 92.3% participation rate.
During that period, the team completed:
These numbers reflect more than initial adoption. Employees were regularly engaging with training and reinforcing their skills through small, consistent learning sessions.
As the daily training routine took hold, the dealership also saw improvements in business performance.
Comparing January through May with June through September, the dealership experienced increases in both front-end and F&I gross profit per vehicle retailed (PVR).

The gains extended across both sides of the deal. Front Gross PVR increased by more than $211 per sale, while F&I Gross PVR grew by nearly $206 per sale.
Product penetration also improved from 34% to 36%, and the dealership averaged ten additional vehicle sales per month.
While multiple factors influence dealership performance, these improvements coincided with the team's adoption of consistent daily training.
Germain's approach worked by making employee development a shared priority. With clear expectations from managers, incentives for participation, and structured onboarding, learning became part of how the dealership operated.
As one Germain Automotive Partnership leader put it:
"It truly works. Micro learning at its best. They just need to use it!"
— Group Managing Director, Germain Automotive Partnership
The experience demonstrates that meaningful training doesn't have to require hours away from customers. A small daily commitment, reinforced by leadership, can support stronger engagement and better business outcomes.
With 92% of its team actively engaged, nearly 4,000 learning units completed, and over $410 more in Total Gross PVR per sale, Germain demonstrated the impact of making training a daily priority.
Training works best when it becomes a habit, not an event.
