  • What is your passion?
  • What is your purpose?
  • What drives you?

Discuss (5 mins)

  • Allow the group to share their thoughts on the video.
  • Share the story of personal success in the dealership.
  • Does having a passion for the sales process affect how successful you are?

Do (5 mins)

Supplies Needed: Piece of paper, pen, hat/bucket

  • Hand out a piece of paper or Post-it note to all teammates.
  • Have each person right down the part of the process they struggle with the most. (1 min)
  • Then ask them to write down 2 behaviors they can demonstrate this week to help improve that part of the
    process. (3 mins)
  • Have a volunteer share. If no volunteers, take a minute to share a few behaviors in the process that create success.
    Examples

i. Having a trial close question
ii. Follow up for the first 30 mins of each shift
ii. Completing a needs assessment for each customer.

BONUS: Give a gift card to the person who volunteers. If you struggle with participation make this gift card more significant than usual! This should encourage future participation.

Review

  • Having passion around the sales process can affect how successful you are.
  • Identifying where you can become better in the process is the first step to improving it.
  • Taking action on the behaviors you identified today is one step closer to success.
